UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, ONDO [UNIMED] OFFERS FREE TRAINING TO UKRAINIAN RETURNEE MEDICAL STUDENTS


The management of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo State, has offered to train Nigerian medical students who recently returned from Ukraine to the country due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

The college’s Chief Medical Director, Dr. Oluwole Ige, in a statement, said the continuous medical training was being offered to the interested students on a free of charge basis.

The CMD advised them to maximise the opportunities for learning at UNIMED Teaching Hospital in Ondo State while it lasts. He assured that UNIMED Teaching Hospital is set to meet their training aspirations and clinical exposure during the period.

“Dr Ige explained that the students across the country and other African nations have been accessing qualitative medical and clinical training at the institution.

The Chief Medical Director also advised the interested students to visit the office of the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee at The Medical Village, Laje Road Ondo, for further details on the processes for registration.”
