FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE-EKITI NOTICE ON COMMENCEMENT OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES FOR ALL 2022/2023 DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS

The Committee of Deans as it's special meeting held on Thursday, 6th July, 2023 considered the peculiarities associated with the 2022/2023 Direct Entry Students of the University.

In light of the realities considered, the Committee noted that;

i. All 2022/2023 Direct Entry Students are supposed to commence their academic activities with Stream A Students with effect from Monday, 17th July, 2023.

ii. For those 2022/2023 Direct Entry Students who took the First Semester Examination with the 200 Level Students in the 2021/2022 academic session, their grades MAY be maintained upon resumption.

iii. However for those mentioned in (ii) above who wish to start afresh, ALL Courses registered for in the First Semester MUST be re-done

iv. To this end, all Direct Entry Students are NOT permitted to write the forthcoming School Semester examinations scheduled to commence 24th July, 2023.
