Scholarship Initiative Overview:
This initiative focuses on Senior Secondary School (SSS) students and undergraduates pursuing education in government-owned or accredited private institutions in Nigeria.
Scholarship Requirements:
For Secondary School Applicants:
- Successful completion of the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) with a minimum of five (5) distinctions, equivalent to grade A, in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, achieved in one sitting.
- Availability of JSCE results during the application period.
- Age not exceeding 18 at the time of application.
- Nigerian citizenship.
- Child of a confirmed employee or individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period.
- Not a beneficiary of another scholarship.
For Undergraduate Applicants:
- Completion of the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO or GCE) with a minimum of five (5) distinctions, equivalent to grade A, in relevant subjects for the chosen course of study at the higher institution.
- Offer of admission into an approved tertiary institution (University/Polytechnic/Monotechnic) in Nigeria.
- Age not exceeding 25 at the time of applying.
- Nigerian citizenship.
- Child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
- Not a beneficiary of another scholarship.
Available Programmes:
For the 2024/25 academic session, the MRS Oil Nigeria Scholarship welcomes applications for all accredited programs in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

- The scholarship covers full tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.
Required Documents:
- Complete Application Form
- Personal Details (Name, Gender, Passport photograph, Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin, Mobile Number, Email, Name of School, Class/Level, School Address, Name/Contact Number of Principal or Head of Department, Subjects and Grades, School fees, Name of Sponsor)
- Junior Secondary JSCE result for the Secondary School category and SSCE result for the Tertiary School category in one sitting
- Admission letter
- Birth certificate/affidavit (Birth affidavit date must not be earlier than 60 days before September 5, 2023)
- School fees document signed by the school
- Parent National ID card
Application Procedure:
For Employees’ Children:
- Follow the designated application guidelines.
- Complete the Scholarship Application Form for Staff.
- Submit all completed forms and required documents (not exceeding 5mb) to monscholarship@mrsholdings.com.
For Shareholders’ Children:
- Adhere to the specified application guidelines.
- Fill out the Scholarship Application Form for Shareholders.
- Forward all completed forms and necessary documents (not exceeding 5mb) to monscholarship@mrsholdings.com.
