Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the undergraduate IOA Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Citizenship: Open to Nigerian citizens enrolled in federal or state-owned universities in Nigeria.
- Field of Study: Must be pursuing studies in Nutrition or Agriculture.
- Academic Level: Currently in the second or third year of full-time undergraduate study.
- Minimum CGPA: Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system.
Available Programs:
The IOA Memorial Scholarship is exclusively available to aspiring undergraduate students studying Nutrition or Agriculture at public universities in Nigeria.
Required Documents:
Applicants for the 2024 IOA Memorial Scholarships must submit the following documents:
1. Essays Submission:
- 1st Essay: Why I am qualified for this scholarship. (Max 300 words)
- Enrollment in the course "Evolving Leaders in Nutrition."
- 2nd Essay: Summary of learnings from the course, ethical leadership practices in Nigeria, and an action plan.
- 3rd Essay: Vision for food systems pathways' transformation in the next ten years and the role of Generative AI. (Max 250 words)
2. Application Package:
- Completed application forms.
- Current transcripts.
- Personal references: One from a former employer or current professor, and a personal/character reference.
