Scholarship Benefits:
1. Cash Award: Each scholarship awardee receives a cash payment of N600,000, which fully covers board, academic materials, tuition, and other needs for a session.
2. Mentorship: OSF provides quarterly mentorship sessions led by volunteer industry professionals, offering continuous support and guidance throughout the academic journey.
3. Personal Computer: STEM students receive a competitive and stylish laptop to support their technological needs for studies or research.
4. Community: OSF fosters a supportive community, connecting mentors, scholars, staff, and founders to share resources and knowledge, helping each other overcome difficulties and challenges.
Requirements for Maintenance:
- Beneficiaries must maintain a GPA of no less than 3.5 on a 5-point scale throughout every academic year.
- Beneficiaries are required to stay in contact with the OSF office for the duration of the program.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Applicant must be from the Niger Delta region, primarily Delta, Edo, or Ondo states.
2. Alternatively, applicants from other regions must demonstrate extraordinary academic performance with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale (school results to be provided upon request).
3. Applicant's field of study must be in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
4. Applicant must have gained admission for the current academic year (2024-2025) into a Nigerian public university or be in Year 1 or Year 2 in a Nigerian public university.
