Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Oyo State College Of Health Science & Technology Eleyele Oyo State for the 2024/2025 academic session. 

Admission Requirement

1. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING

A. HND IN PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING

• i. WASCE/NECO/SSCE 5Credit passes in Eng. Lang., Mathematics ,Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at not more than two sittings PLUS either ii, iii or iv below:
• ii. Registered Nursing (RN) certificate.
• iii.. BNSc candidates from Universities accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria .
• iv. BNSc candidates from Universities outside Nigeria with evidence of verification of certificates and license by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
• Duration: 2 years (Four semesters), except candidates with BNSc (one year – two semesters)

B. DIPLOMA FOR HEALTH TECHNICIANS (DIRECT ENTRY)

• 4 O’Level Credit passes in WASCE or NECO in four subjects including English language, Mathematics, Biology and any other Science subject in not more than two sittings.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

C. DIPLOMA FOR HEALTH TECHNICIANS

• Academically qualified Health Assistant who has a minimum of two years working experience with 4 Credit passes O/L in WASCE or NECO Exam, which includes English language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any Social Science subject.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

D. CERTIFICATE FOR HEALTH ASSISTANTS

• (Location of Training is Satellite Campus, Okeho, Kajola Local Govt, Oyo State)
• 5 O’Level Credit passes in WASCE or NECO Examination which must include English language, Biology/Health Science and any other two subjects.
• Candidates with lower qualification but with working experience in the health sector may be considered.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

2. DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT HEALTH

A. DIPLOMA IN HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION

• (Location of Training is Satellite Campus, Okeho)
• 4 credit passes in GCE, SSCE, NECO or Grade II, to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and any one(1) subject.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

B. DIPLOMA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS

• (Location of Training is Satellite Campus, Okeho)
• i. 4 credit passes in GCE/WASCE or NECO in English Language, Biology/Health Science and any two of the followings: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Agric Science, and ordinary pass in any other subject.
• ii. Holders of Certificate for Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Dental Surgery Assistants, JCHEW and any other related programmes with two years’ post qualification experience can also apply to be admitted into 200 level provided they fulfill the entry requirement in (i) above.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

C. NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY

• 5 Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)
• Admission is through JAMB UTME

D. DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

• 5 Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any other two subjects from Economics, Biology or Chemistry.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

3. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

A. DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (CHEW)

• i. WASCE, SSCE, NECO or GCE O/L with (5) credits at more than two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Duration : 3 years (Six Semesters)
• ii. Junior Community Extension Workers with 2 years’ post qualification experience in addition to the above requirement mentioned, and applicant MUST be registered with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and posses a valid practice license.
• Duration: 2 Years (Four Semesters)

B. CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (JCHEW)

• 5 credit passes in WASCE or NECO Examination in English, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

4. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

• A. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
• 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry or Physics and any other subject at not more than two sittings.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

B. NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

• 5credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in GCE, SSCE, or NECO.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)
• Admission is through JAMB UTME

5. DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY TECHNICIANS’ TRAINING

CERTIFICATE FOR PHARMACY TECHNICIANS

• 5 credit passes in English Lang., Mathematics, Biology ,Physics and Chemistry in any of GCE, SSCE, WAEC OR NECO in not more than 2 sittings.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

6. DEPARTMENT OF ORAL HEALTH SCIENCE

A. PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA FOR DENTAL SURGERY TECHNICIANS

• 5 O/L credit passes in Biology, Mathematics, English Lang., Physics and Chemistry in not more than 2 sittings.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

B. NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN DENTAL THERAPY

• 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in GCE, SSCE, or NECO.
• Duration : 2 years (Four Semesters)
• Admission is through JAMB UTME.

C. NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN DENTAL NURSING

• 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in GCE, SSCE, or NECO.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)
• Admission is through JAMB UTME.

7. DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCES

CERTIFICATE FOR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIANS

• 5 O/L credit passes (NECO or WAEC) in English Lang., Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at not more than 2 sittings.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

8. DEPARTMENT OF NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

• 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in GCE, SSCE, or NECO.
• Duration : 2 years (Four Semesters)
• Admission is through JAMB UTME.

9. DEPARTMENT OF COMPLEMENTARY HEALTH SCIENCES

    (NATURAL/ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE)

DIPLOMA IN COMPLEMENTARY HEALTH SCIENCES

(NATURAL/ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE)

• 5 O/L credit passes in English Lang, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics, Chemistry and a minimum pass in Yoruba Lang at not more than 2 sittings in GCE/SSCE, NECO OR WAEC.
• Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

10. DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING/X-RAY TECHNICIANS

DIPLOMA FOR MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING/X-RAY TECHNICIANS

• 5 O/L credit at not more than two (2) sittings in GCE/SSCE, NECO OR WAEC in English Lang, Mathematics, Health Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

11. DEPARTMENT OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES

DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK

• 5 O/L credit passes in English Lang, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects
• Certificate in Social work Duration: 2 years (Four Semesters)

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN MENTAL HEALTH ND PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION

• 5 O/L credit at not more than two (2) sittings in GCE/SSCE, NECO OR WAEC in English Lang, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Duration: 3 years (Six Semesters)

ADMISSION PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Step #1 - Open the College Website:http://www.oyschst.edu.ng

Step #2 - Click on the 2024/2025 admission

Step #3 - On the Entrance Fee Payment Page, supply your email and phone number, and click on ‘Process’

Step #4 - On the Payment Summary Page, click on ‘Pay Now’

Step #5 - On the FlicksPay Page click on ‘Continue’, to supply your ATM/DEBIT Card Number and other detail

Step #6 - OTP Number will be sent to your phone number, use the number to complete your payment

Step #7 - Once payment is completed, Transaction Reference and Registration PIN will be sent to the email you supplied in step #3.

Step #8 - Click on “Complete Registration” on the Transaction Complete Page to Proceed to Registration

Step #9 - Supply the Transaction Reference shown on the Transaction Complete Page and the PIN sent the email address you supplied in step #3 above to continue your registration

Step #10 – On the Registration page, Supply your basic information such as Name, First and Second choice Course, Date of Birth, State, LGA, O’Level Result, Username and Password for your new admission portal. (Please enter a username and password that you can remember because you will need the username and password to login into your portal after completing your registration)

Step #11 - Upload your Passport Photograph

Step #12 - Submit your registration
