It has come to the notice of management of Lagos State University (LASU) that some individuals/organisations operating under the name "National Image Scholarship Scheme" are offering "tuition-free scholarships" to some affiliated institutions, with a "Lagos State University, Ifo Campus", listed as one of their affiliates. According to a letter of admission and processing form ostensibly issued to one of their clients, prospective students can assess their juicy offer on the payment of a stated sum of money.
We hereby disassociate Lagos State University from such schemes and categorically state that:
LASU dissociates self from admission/scholarship affiliation with National Image Scholarship Scheme
LASU has no affiliation with any individual, group, or organisation by the name National Image, neither does the university offer admission to candidates through them;
LASU's only existing affiliation with Ifo is with the Royal College of Education, Ifo, for the Sandwich Degree Programme.
All LASU admissions are conducted EXCLUSIVELY through official channels as prescribed by the Joint Admissions & Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the university's internal admission process.
LASU will not be held responsible for any loss incurred by any individual who falls victim to such dubious schemes.
Prospective students and the general public are strongly advised to verify all admission- related information through LASU's official website: www.lasu.edu.ng or any of its official social media platform for authenticity.
