Due to the recent unjustified increase in Keke Napep fee, we advise all students to cease the use of Keke Napep services on campus until further notice. The reasons for this directive are as follows:
Unjustified Price Hike: The new fare structure from N100 before, now N200 is exorbitant and unsustainable for the average student.
Exploitation: Students are being unfairly targeted and exploited due to their reliance on Keke Napep as the primary means of transportation within campus.
Lack of Consideration: The fare increase fails to take into account the ongoing economic hardship faced by students and some Polytechnic staffs.
In light of these concerns, we urge all students to avoid patronizing Keke Napep operators within the campus until this issue is resolved. Rest assured, the Students' Union Government is actively engaging with the operators, campus authorities, and relevant stakeholders to negotiate a fair and reasonable solution.
Your safety and well being remains our top priority. We kindly ask for your cooperation as we work towards a resolution. Updates on this matter will be communicated in due course.
Thank you.
