On 30th September 2024, the Union received several messages and complaints, along with a copied document that seemed to suggest an increment in school fees for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
As your Students' Union Government (SUG), we fuly understand and share in your concerns.
Let it be clear: Team Educator will not support or endorse any increment in school fees that would unfairly burden students, especially in light of the ongoing economic difficulties in our nation.
We remain fully committed to ensuring that education remains accessible and affordable for every student. Our priority is to ensure that no student is forced to leave the institution due to financial constraints. As such, we are already actively engaging the school management in constructive dialogues, representing your interests and seeking a resolution that reflects the financial realities faced by our students.
In the coming days, we will be initiating a series of high-level meetings with the institution's leadership to address this matter comprehensively. We are optimistic that these engagements will result in a positive outcome that will safeguard your welfare.
