1. Suspension of School Fees Payment: All 100-level students have been advised to withhold payment of their fees until the conclusion of negotiations between the SUG and university management.
2. Black Attire for Solidarity: Students are encouraged to wear black attire as a sign of collective resistance to the fee hike.
3. Solidarity Tags: Tags will be distributed across faculties for students to wear in support of the movement.
4. Suspension of Faculty and Departmental Charges: Faculty and Departmental Presidents have been directed to halt the collection of charges until further notice.
5. Suspension of SUG Dues: The collection of SUG dues has been suspended for all students until a resolution is reached.

The SUG emphasized the importance of unity in addressing this issue and called on returning students to join the movement by withholding their school fees payments as well.

The memo stated, “The University of Jos has become synonymous with recurrent and unreasonable fee increments, leaving students and their families in financial distress. This cannot continue.”

The SUG pledged to escalate its actions if the university management fails to address the situation promptly and reasonably. The leadership reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for the rights and welfare of all students.
