The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a crucial directive to all 2024 Direct Entry (DE) candidates who registered with awaiting results for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMB) or the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB). Candidates must promptly upload their results upon release or face disqualification from admission consideration.
In an official statement, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, emphasized that candidates who fail to comply with this requirement will be regarded as having no results, making them ineligible for admission.
“Applicants who registered with awaiting results must visit any accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre to upload their results immediately. Failure to do so will lead to automatic disqualification from the 2024 DE admission process,” Dr. Benjamin stated.
The Board reaffirmed that, similar to UTME applicants, DE candidates will not be considered for admission if their results remain unverified. Prospective 2025 DE candidates were also urged to be proactive by ensuring their results are uploaded as soon as they are available, improving their chances of securing admission.
