
Candidates are strongly advised to read the following instructions carefully before proceeding as the University will not be responsible for any incorrect information submitted or entered by any candidate.
Note:
Wrong entries will automatically disqualify a candidate; and
Offer of Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/A'Level score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and Five (5) relevant O' Level grades (20%).
A. Registration Instructions – candidates are requested to print out this page and read the instruction carefully before commencing registration.
(i) Registration period is from 00:01hr of Monday 22nd June, 2026 to 23:59hr of Sunday 5th July, 2026
(ii) All candidates are to upload their O' Level and A' Level results where applicable on JAMB CAPS. Candidates who are awaiting results should so indicate by typing/selecting 'AR'.
(iii) Change of course: Candidates who are interested in changing courses/programmes are to effect the changes on JAMB CAPS and NOT on Unilorin portal as the University will periodically download these changes from JAMB CAPS and update its portal right up to the time of closure of Post UTME registration. There will be no update after the closure of registration.
(iv) Before commencing the registration process, candidates must have National Identification Number (NIN), O' Level Result Checker, a personal and active email address as well as a personal (not a third-party) mobile number.
(v) Candidates will proceed to pay Registration fee of ₦2,000.00 only. (See B.vi. below)
(vi) Candidates are advised to crosscheck the correctness of all entries before final submission.
(vii) Candidates should note that information entered can be reviewed for correction purposes during the course of registration right up to the closure of the portal for registration to ensure error-free registration.
(viii) Candidates should print out their screening documents and make sure that all information entered are correctly displayed. Where the information supplied is not correctly displayed, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.
(ix) Candidates who have valid complaints regarding the correctness of information displayed on their screening documents are advised to report such at the University of Ilorin Admissions Office by sending an email to admissions@unilorin.edu.ng
(x) Candidates are advised to ensure that printouts display clear entry of their details such as UTME subjects and scores on their slips.
(xi) Interested candidates should note that O'Level results obtained at one sitting ONLY will be accepted for any of the following courses: MB;BS, Pharmacy, Optometry & Vision Science, and Computer Engineering.
(xii) Candidates will be charged for NIN and O' level results verification post registration.
(xiii) Candidates from outside Nigeria who applied through UTME/DE modes are exempted from the Post UTME screening test but will be screened after admission.
(xiv) Candidates with disabilities including (but not limited to) the blind, deaf, mute, autistic, amputees, lame, and paralyzed, as well as those that have Down syndrome, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), albinism, cerebral palsy and disfigurement are exempted from the screening test.
NOTE: AT THE CLOSE OF REGISTRATION, CANDIDATES SHOULD ENSURE THAT THE DETAILS OF THEIR O' LEVEL EXAMINATIONS SUCH AS EXAMINATION NUMBER AS WELL AS THEIR NIN UPLOADED ON THE UNIVERSITY PORTAL ARE THE SAME AS THOSE UPLOADED ON JAMB CAPS.
