2022 UTME: JAMB RELEASES LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS
JAMB has published the list of Prohibited Items that won’t be allowed into any of its centres during this year’s examination. The items are:
1. Electronic devices such as:
mobile phones
calculators
wristwatches
recorders
2. spy reading glasses
3. cameras
4. ear piece
5. bluetooth devices
6. USB
7. CD
8. hard disk and other similar storage devices
9. pen/biro
10. smart lenses
11. books or any reading/writing material
12. ink/pen readers
13. key holders
14. ATM cards
15. erasers
16. smart rings/jewelries
ENIOLA EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT confirmed that the website partly states: “to ensure that the board’s examinations meet best global practice, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has prohibited the use of the aboved items during examinations.
“Candidates are hereby advised not to bring these items close to the examination venue in their best interest.
Any breach of this directive would bar the candidates from taking the examination.”
