GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAMMES
There are two types of Programmes:
1. Courses certified by their regulatory bodies and institution:- these are based on the requirements of regulatory bodies/institution by obtaining accreditation or by having affiliation with another sister institution.
2. Courses to be certified by the college:- these are short courses that the college organized and develop curriculum by putting standardization into consideration.
National Diploma
Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into National Diploma Programme - SSCE, WASC, GCE, NECO with credit in four (4) subjects relevant to the programme including English Language and Mathemetics at not more than two sittings plus a science subject (i.e) Health science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Food and Nutrition
Technician Cadre
Any programme of study designated as technician requires a minimum antry qualification in O’Level WASC, SSCE, GCE or NECO of three (3) credits plus two(2) passes. The credit must be in biology, health science, physics, chemistry or any other science subject plus at least passes in English and Mathematics (not more than two (2) sittings).
Certificate Course
Programmes designated as certificate requires a minimum entry qualification of five(5) O’level passes at not more than two (2) sittings in WASC, GCE, or NECO which must include English Language , Mathematics & Biology/Health Science. Chemistry is required for certain programmes.
NB: The most current qualification entry requirements are obtainable in the various Departments and the Statutory Boards.
NB: Specific requirements depend on the recommendations of Board/Council which regulates the individual Programmes. Hence always contact the departments for the correct requirements
