The West African Examinations Council has released the timetable for the 2026 Common-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, First Series.
In a post obtained from its X handle on Tuesday, the timetable outlines the schedule of subjects, dates, and times for the examination, providing private candidates with the necessary information to prepare and plan accordingly.
The post read, “Here’s the timetable for the CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First series https://waecinternational.org/timetable/ We wish you success and a wonderful experience.”
Candidates are also encouraged to adhere strictly to the examination guidelines provided by WAEC to avoid any avoidable issues.
The release of the timetable marks an important milestone in the lead-up to the 2026 examination, as candidates and stakeholders begin final preparations for the upcoming assessment.
The CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates – First Series will begin on January 28 and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT).
The computer-based examination is part of WAEC’s ongoing efforts to modernise the examination process and improve efficiency in test administration.
