In a statement issued on Sunday, the institution described the message— which claims that academic activities will resume on Monday, March 9— as false, unauthorized, and not issued by the Polytechnic.

The management warned students to completely disregard the information and refrain from acting on it, stressing that no official resumption date has been announced.
According to the statement, all valid information on resumption dates, academic activities, and other important issues will only be communicated through approved channels once directives are received from the appropriate authorities.
The Polytechnic listed its official communication platforms as the Directorate of Students Services, the Students Union Government, and its verified social media handles on X (@Kwarastatepoly), Instagram (@kwarastatepolyofficial), and LinkedIn (@kwarastatepolytechnicofficial), as well as its official website, [www.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng](http://www.kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng), and the institution’s blog.
Management urged students to rely solely on these official sources to avoid falling victim to misinformation and unnecessary inconvenience.
